EN 12390-8 “Testing Hardened Concrete; Depth of Penetration of Water under Pressure”, Dubai Central Laboratory, Dubai PERM-246

Concrete specimens with design strengths of 40 MPa, containing 240 kg OPC and 160
kg GGBS (Slag) were cast utilizing a 0.44 w/c ratio, including three controls and three
Admix C-1000 NF samples dosed at 6 kg per m3. The depth of water penetration was
measured at 33 days age on 150 mm cubes. Despite the high strength concrete (≈ 54
MPa), there was a clear difference in the results of the controls at an average of 6 mm
and the Admix C-1000 NF at 1.3 mm.
