Type B waterproofing is defined and described as: Structurally Integral - BS 8102:2022.

This method refers to waterproofing through the design and construction of the structure itself, SMR specify a range of Xypex and Hydroswell products to achieve Type B waterproofing. These include BBA approved Xypex Admix and Hydroswell Bentostrip hydrophilic water bar.
