THE CHALLENGE

A cavity drain membrane (CDM) system is reinforced concrete car park was underperforming because the first course of blockwork, which should have formed a drainage channel, hadn’t been waterproofed. As a result, water was escaping into the car park instead of being properly managed.

Tapco Homedry Ltd carried out a targeted remedial solution using Manorteq AquaRend Thix, creating a fully sealed, continuous barrier at the wall-floor junction. Careful preparation, precise application, and controlled curing ensured long-term performance.

Water ingress eliminated, CDM functionality restored, and durable, continuous waterproofing achieved.
